Lasath is the Principal Engineer, and he founded ESBS in 2014. He has 40 years of multi-disciplinary experience covering Mechanical, Electrical, BMS/Controls, Hydraulics and Fire Protection Services, for a range of clients and projects in England, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia. Having a Master of Science degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from Kings College-University of London, Lasath has a keen interest in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heat Transfer, Psychrometrics and Electrical Engineering. Having worked for a manufacturer of heat pumps in England, he is a keen advocate for the correct application of heat pumps for Electrification in existing buildings, which have gas fired heating systems.

At ESBS, Lasath plays a key role in business development, stakeholder engagement, building sustainable relationships, concept designs and developing cost effective and pragmatic, performance solutions for compliance with the National Construction Code- NCC.

Lasath, together with the Administration Manager is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System at ESBS and to facilitate the annual external audits.
